Our Story

Our family story: In 2002 my dad had lost his job in supervision at a Grand Rapids factory. My parents had just built their "dream house" and were terrified at what they were going to do. In the months to come they were directed to Chinook and after selling off all they had worked for in 20 years they purchased the campground. It was truly a blessing and one of the best things that could have ever happened to our family. Over the years, the park has been a lot of hard work but very rewarding for us all.

After owning the campground for nearly 15 years, they decided it was time sell and enjoy some relaxing travels. I, their youngest son Nick had grown up at Chinook and it was always my dream to take over. My wife Melissa and I purchased Chinook Campground from my parents in 2017. We have three kids, Jadelyn, Gage & Brooke and couldn't be more excited to start this new adventure.
